Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-8

Teachers are perhaps our greatest and yet least appreciated asset. Forest Witcraft recognized the lasting influence of teachers and it is that attitude that so many teachers bring to the classroom everyday.

Today we have teachers that are helping their students at home by way of Facebook, or teachers that call up parents just before a final exam and say “If I could just have 20 minutes with your child before a big test I think I can help them figure it out.” Or the middle school coach who sees himself as a last chance for a student that is messing up in class. There is no glory in being a middle school coach or teacher; the only reward is knowing that you have the opportunity to impact a child’s life.
