Penguin Patch didn’t start as a corporate idea dreamed up in a boardroom. It started with one mom, Kay, running a holiday shop for her daughter Jennifer’s school and falling in love with watching kids’ faces light up as they picked out gifts in secret. Decades later, that same family still runs the show — based out of Fort Worth, still hands-on, still treating every school’s shop like it’s the only one that matters.
